    Pros +

    • The view, location, service, and food. It was the best latte I’ve had on my Japan trip. Taking the elevator to the top of the tower was incredible. Beautiful view. Plus the chocolates they left out, it’s so delicious.
    • Great location in the Mirai Tower -- very central, beautiful view of the park and Space Ship Aqua. Close to subway.
    • Great design touches, funky art, and wonderfully helpful and cheerful staff.

    Cons -

    • I wish parking was closer. That’s the only negative thing.
    • No lounge or bar.
    • Only problem was the structural beam in the room.. how not to trip over it at nighttime

Unique and spectacular hotel inside an old TV tower in central Nagoya with very comfortable rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, great service and spectacular breakfast, both Japanese and Western

Nothing major, a great experience!Minor points: not enough light in the bathroom, and skip the salad in the western breakfast option, there’s already enough other delicious food!

Style. Modern contemporary artsy boutique hotel, once Japan’s first TV tower, now turned restaurants/hotel by FHAMS design studio Setting. Nagoya Central Park. 40 min from Chubu airport or 18 min from Nagoya airportExplore. Hotel location was perfect for exploring the neighborhood shops, burgeoning local food scene, music festivals and outdoor events. I only wish I got to stay one more nightRooms. Only 15 rooms, one of which is used for art exhibitions. I was in room 3. As I had an extremely stressful week so it was super healing to have this little mini escape @ the hotel. Amazing vibe, kind staff and service, Kano Morishita and the rest of the team were delivering service really @ the level of the Aman hotels. Taxis are not allowed to stop in front of the hotel, but the staff always walked me to the taxi to make sure I got on the right one. Private sky deck access late at night and early morning via a hidden entrance, plenty of cool art work and installations including Yoshitomo Nara’s work. Food & drinks. Hotel has 3 restaurants and is very popular for special occasions, the night I was here there were two wedding parties. They are tons of food options near by and the hotel also helped book good restaurants Prices. $595Rating. 5/5 definitely hope to revisit !

Beautiful unique hotel in the Nagoya tv tower with exceptional service. The welcome sweets and the breakfast were delicious. We didn't try the private access to the tower (hours were 10pm-midnight and 530am-730am while we were there) but our room was very spacious with an amazing view anyway. To top it off, there was easy access to the subway and plenty of great restaurants nearby.

The hotel was a very unique and modern design, art everywhere, and really thoughtful details throughout. The location was terrific and the park around has a lot of amenities like restaurant, coffee shops, and great places to hang out. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. “Japanese breakfast” was our first in Japan and was delicious and challenging and an adventure everyday.

WOW. This was a superior experience from start to finish. Rooms were art, welcome goodies gorgeous and delicious. Do yourself a favour and indulge in breakfast (behind the hidden door!!!) -- you honestly won't find a better one in the entire country. This is one of the best boutique hotels I've ever stayed in.

Absolutely nothing could be improved. Bravo.

Absolutely superb accommodation! Everything was perfect.

They did not accept my card (it worked all over Japan), luckily we paid in advance, and have enough cash to pay for a wine.

The breakfast was incredible! We loved the secret doors and the private access to the viewing platform of the tower. The welcome tea and sweets were the best ones we had on the trip.Staff were absolutely incredible. We had checked out, we were waiting at the elevator and it started to rain. A staff came running with an umbrella for us.

Great location, nice rooms, helpful staff, great breakfast.

To stay in one of the most iconic building in Nagoya is something you cannot put a price on and the view of the sunrise from the tower which only whom stayed at the hotel is "special".It also is a hotel which provides very nice breakfast using local ingredients.

Access by car is not recommended, can't even park nearby. Also rooms are often quite compact without a bathtub.

Staff were wonderful and room was large, very clean and comfortable with great views. Breakfast was a great experience.

    10RomavelPosted on: 12-4-2023

The staff are kind and efficient, the location is convenient, the design of the rooms and facilities are excellent! The breakfast at Glycine is top-notch and a must-try.

The fact that I stayed a few nights on a TV tower turned hotel was fascinating. The location is perfect, the hotel is artsy and fun, full of surprises with its secret entrances for elevator to the top of the tower, and to the restaurant. My patio was super neat for inviting a few friends up for a drink. The staff members at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends and will definitely stay here again.

The shade is not closed tightly at both ends, so the room is a bit bright for me in early mornings.

More than a hotel - it was a really unique experience! The service was above and beyond, breakfast was superb, the location was perfect, and staying in a tower with all the secret doors and special design was a true privilege. A special thank you to the wonderful dining room staff for your gentleness and perfection!

Absolutely amazing staff. They were punctual, and personalized. Best hotel staff I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with.

Pillows were a little firm for my taste.

Breakfast was phenomenal. You really can't get better than the assortment and care they give with the menu. Everything is seasonal and sourced locally.

We wish we had been better prepared for our trip to the observatory at night. We didn't bring any money for the gachopon. We've also been collecting stamps at the JR and subway stations and the tower had a stamp that we didn't know about. Rather than allow us up through their secret entrance, we had to go the round about way to enter through the ground. They initially said they'd charge us but decided last minute to waive the fee for the second trip.

The staff always had a smile

didn't allow any kind of early check in and recommendations were limited

    Important info

[An important cultural asset, the Nagoya TV Tower has been reborn as a hotel with a total of 15 rooms]brbrSince its completion in 1954, the Nagoya TV Tower has been a beloved symbol of the city for more than half a century. The city has flourished and people have gathered around it, and it can be said to be the “origin” of Nagoya. In 2020, the Nagoya TV Tower was reborn as THE TOWER HOTEL. It became a new starting point for Nagoya, a “local media tower” that transmits local traditions and culture, arts and crafts, and the wonderful local food culture. The unique experience awaits you at this special place where the old charm of an “important cultural asset” blends with the new. br/ The minimum age required to stay at this property is 11 years old.br
